It is considered the industry standard shape as it provides excellent balance between reach, power, and control. On the other hand, the MX shape measures 16.5" x 7.5" with a 5.75" grip length. This shape is perfect for those who desire greater reach, power, and spin.

If you're unsure which one to choose, it's recommended to go with the EX. Paddles with thicker cores provide better control and a softer feel upon contact. However, as the cores become thicker, the power and size of the sweet spot decrease. To address this issue, Engage has developed the 'Core & Skin Dimensioning' technology. This ensures that the Encore MX paddles possess a thick core, a large sweet spot, and the right amount of power to put the ball away, all while maintaining full control, balance, and positioning.
